Community Outreach
Our community outreach support is designed for people who need to access facilities in the community. We provide community outreach support to adults of all ages who have physical and learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. The support is tailored to the needs of the people we support, and provided at times that suit them.
Community outreach support include:
- developing and maintaining life skills, such as food shopping
- help with finances and budgeting
- supporting individuals to access community centres for community-based activities, shopping centres, various places of interest, college, or rides of public transport
- attending clubs
Our community outreach activities are intended to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support, including greater independence, confidence, and self-esteem. We work together with people to agree what support they need and the times that work best for them. As people develop and learn new skills, we can adapt the support provided to ensure people continue to get the most out of life.
