Supported Living
Supported living service is a very good alternative to living in a residential care home. Supported living is offered in different forms, e.g.,
- Own home with some personal care
- Shared home with 2 or more people, where individuals have an interest to live with others.
Supported living services are flexible and offer better value for money than alternatives. They help service users retain their independence whilst still having the extra and much needed physical and emotional support.
We focus on maintaining the privacy and independence whenever you need it, being assured peace of mind receiving support from our reliable and competent team all the time for any needed support. We aim to support you to live as independently as possible, supporting you to develop your skills, form new hobbies and make new friends. We involve individuals, their family, and representatives in every aspect of support, to ensure that they feel empowered to live the way they want, where they want to live, how and with the support of their choice.
We believe in fostering a sense of community among our residents. We organize regular social events and activities, such as movie nights, game nights, and outings to local attractions. We also encourage our residents to participate in community events and volunteer opportunities. By building strong relationships with one another and with members of the wider community, our residents can develop a sense of belonging and purpose that is essential to their overall well-being.
We can support people receiving their own personal budgets, or people that choose to have their support purchased on their behalf by social services. Our support is flexible to suit individuals’ needs and can vary from a few hours per week to 24/7 support.
We can support you with:
- Getting help with personal care
- Paying rent and household bills
- Developing living skills
- Cooking, laundry, shopping, cleaning, ironing, or gardening
- Claiming benefits
